Furniture + Installation
Mitsch Design didn’t always offer furniture dealership services; it was after our clients told us they needed our help with this part of the process when we realized the value we could provide by offering a fully integrated solution that includes selection, procurement and installation of furniture, artwork and accessories. From project start to finish, we proudly offer a seamless, unified design process — and that means our projects are better, and our clients are happier. Take a look at our three key differentiators.
A Holistic Approach
Our holistic approach to architecture, interior design and furniture allows us to provide a seamless, unified experience for our clients. Multifamily, corporate, franchise/retail, hospitality — whatever kind of project — our design teams are collaborating on furniture, artwork, accessories from the very beginning. FFE is integral to the finished design, not an afterthought.

Free from quotas
We are an independent furniture dealer and are not tied to a specific manufacturer. This means we can source the perfect pieces to complement your project, instead of trying to make less than perfect pieces fit to fill a quota. This approach provides freedom and flexibility to find unique solutions that are within your budget and that elevate your end product.

Impeccable Service
Not only do we offer secure warehousing and white glove installation services, our team is on-site on installation day to ensure that every single design detail is in place. From perfectly made beds and fluffed pillows to steamed curtains and artfully arranged accessories, our team is committed to ensuring the final product is exactly what you have been working toward and envisioning in all of our work together. We get you across the finish line.

Our Services
Furniture, lighting, artwork and other decorative items (FF&E) are much more than finishing touches — when done well, these pieces help define the space and enhance its aesthetic appeal. With more than 50 combined years of experience, our Dealership team has the design know-how your project needs to stand out from the rest.
Our Dealership Designers are involved from the very beginning of a project and listen carefully to understand the client’s vision for the finished space. The team works with a range of budgets and works to secure FF&E that fits both the design and the allotted spend. They also take into consideration a variety of factors, including the environment in which an item will be used (i.e. healthcare, senior living, hospitality, residential) which can inform decisions about fabrics, finishes and appropriate furniture construction.
When researching selections, our Dealership team has access to a variety of resources through an established network of vendors. Whether a project requires a custom-built furniture piece or something available with a quick turnaround, we’re able to make it happen.

Once our Dealership Designers have made FF&E selections, there’s a whole lot of coordination that happens to ensure the right products arrive at the right time. That’s where our team of Logistics Managers, Quality Analysts and Purchasing Coordinators come in. They ensure everything’s happening behind the scenes so your project goes off without a hitch.
This team places orders, tracks them, and receives them. They’re responsible for managing any claims or warranties. They communicate with clients to confirm installation timing, which is often impacted by construction delays on-site. They confirm that vendor shipments align with installer and client schedule requests so that everything is delivered and in good condition before installation day.

We have relationships with warehousing partners across the country, many of whom we’ve worked with for more than 20 years. We follow an extensive selection process to identify partners that can accommodate our needs for fully staffed and insured storage of furniture, artwork and accessories. And, while our goal is to have items deliver shortly before the targeted installation, our warehouse partners understand that construction delays happen. Our team handles all communication and coordination related to delays and rescheduling.

On installation day, our warehouse partners deliver the furniture, artwork and all other decorative pieces that have been ordered for the project. After unloading the truck, they carefully remove packaging and begin assembling furniture. Our designers are on-site to ensure the final details are executed according to plan. Of course sometimes, even the best-laid plans have to be adjusted. Our nimble team can make design decisions and adjustments in real time, so there’s no delay to the project.
While on-site (and depending on the type of project), our team completes a variety of tasks, including:
- Making a bed
- Positioning/fluffing pillows
- Hanging wall art
- Steaming curtains
- Adding accessories and revaluating, editing the placement of accessories
- Installing lightbulbs, turning on lights
- Straightening tables/chairs
- Positioning functional details such as coasters, toothbrush holders, utensil crocks, etc.
- Opening pool deck umbrellas
- Performing a final walkthrough with client
